Conveyor Floor

This is part of a project I did a while ago and abandoned.  Just wanted to spruce this up and finish it.  It's tileable, but without changing the normals/textures in the middle it'd be crazy repetitious.

Hallway progress

So these are a lot of the pieces put together to form the hallway.  It can be taken apart and the pieces can be replaced.  These are just the low-poly parts, more of the unwraps/normals will have to wait a bit, as I've been going pretty intense on job searching.

Hallway - moving on

Rough color ideas.
I think I've reached a point where I'm content with most of the hallway.  The ceiling I went through numerous iterations to find one I particularly liked enough to repeat.  The wall has 3 variations (including one pictured) to be placed amongst each other.  Though 2 will probably be used more often.  The bottom corner piece I'll fix up, I'm not totally satisfied with so I'll change up.  The chunks in the flooring are the lights, which are removable so they can be replaced (like giant AAA batteries for your car).  Though, I haven't designed the interior that houses the lights nor the canister part that you'd see if you lifted them.  I'll add maybe some other detail, then it's getting the lo-poly's set up and normals rendered out.

Hallway pieces

More floor work (piping will lay underneath), and the boxes are lights that can be pulled out to be replaced (like giant car batteries).
Some upper segments.  Still working on the ceiling, but need more details drawn out, otherwise I'm just staring at it unproductively.

Hallway work (cont)

Did up the pillar used to separate blocks, and one of the walls.  Or at least, the split section of walls that can have details swapped in and out.

Hallway window

I think the window section of the wall is done.  Other details will be painted in...unless I think of some more tiny details to add, but for now, done.

Borderlands 2 - Echo device

Did this week or two ago.  It took me a few days to get the colors and look just right.

Hangar

I'm playing with something a bit modular, to build a make-shift hangar.  Still playing with designs, what to use, etc., then I'll use the pieces to create the whole scene.

Floor Play

Just some attempts.  I don't know if they'll become part of a larger scene (yet).  Just iterations.  1st batch, few more to texture up.

Railway Station

So these all exist for a big level I've been working on, but took a break from to finish a few other things.  I'm still working on it, as I have a lot I want to do with it, but this is at least where it stands for now.  There's still plenty to do, especially with getting UDK to be less troublesome with importing animations.

Not Dead

I'm not entirely dead, I just haven't posted up progress work or other pieces in a long time. So, I need to. This batch is an environment I did a long time ago (well, only a few months) but I stopped working on it to work on some other projects in hopes of a job I might've gotten. I didn't return to it because I didn't like the design/layout anymore and simply wanted to move on. This was a test for only a few things: 1.) to create modular pieces and build a level from it, and 2.) to create a highly polished, reflectively shiny environment. I didn't get that far, but that was the goal. I also don't want to work on it because I didn't give myself enough room to populate the level with stuff; as it is, once some labels and color was put in, it'd look very very boring.

Xenogears Art Book Submission

The finished version of my submission for the fan made Xenogears Artbook. This one was more of what I wanted but I had to re-work the shot for A4 printing size. For such an idea I should've thought of it sooner, and spent more time on it. Alas.

Xenogears rough

There's an artbook I was invited onto, involving Xenogears. This is the rough so far of what I've got and a few days to go. Only real issue is that it is possibly for print, which is A4 size and I tend to stick to widescreen. Hm, might have to change it up.

Mechano arm

A design I came up with while visiting some friends. Took me longer than it should - primarily based on lack of attention to it. Might texture it, not sure. Only have so much of an idea for textures for it.

Sawed-off shotgun

The finished rendition. The shine on the metal shell canisters didn't come out exactly how I envisioned, possibly me being picky.

Quick model

Something I did relatively quickly. The emissive of the lights isn't as strong as UDK, but good enough.
